Who Gets to Keep the House in a New Jersey Divorce?
We are pleased to announce that Lauren M. Graf, Esq., has joined The Law Office of Rachel S. Cotrino, LLC as an Associate Attorney. Lauren represents families throughout Central New Jersey in divorce, custody, support, and the full range of family law matters our firm handles.
Lauren is a familiar face to many of our clients. She first joined the firm in 2019 and spent the next several years on our team as a paralegal, senior paralegal, and law clerk — all while earning her J.D. at Rutgers Law School’s evening program. Few new associates arrive with that kind of hands-on litigation experience, and it shows in how she works: she prepares thoroughly, gives clients a candid picture of their options, and thinks about how today’s decisions will play out months and years down the road.
Lauren also brings a particular focus to LGBTQ+ family law, adoption and family formation, and disability and special-needs issues. As an LGBTQ+ attorney, representing members of her own community is especially meaningful to her, and her work expands the firm’s ability to serve families of every kind.
She is active in the New Jersey legal community, including the New Jersey State Bar Association’s LGBTQ Rights Section, several county bar associations, and Q Law New Jersey.
